I have used Nova before they do answer the phone every time.

They do keep a percentage of your salary or wages but this is for your taxes as any other PAYE would do.

Only problem I ever had was not receiving a text message with my pay advice on time, this one time last june.

i did so and they charged me 10% commission on the money i received and without my knowledge they made me a director of a company and HMRC started to send me all kind of documents to complete and i had to complete some forms to clarify that i did not want to have anything to do with this company and that i was send contracts by them to sign but i never did so they had absolutely nothing on me.

Avoid this company at all costs! All they care about is money! After working long hours all week they claimed I owed them around £300 wich they took out of my wage with no explanation why! Now I keep getting letters about "my own business" wich I know nothing about and I could be fined upto £1600 if I don't pay them £65! Absolutely dreadful at communication and 100% rip off merchants! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Never had a problem. Payment is always on time emails and invoices always up to date and on time I don't mind paying a fee as you would for an accountant anyway and don't have to worry about a huge tax bill at the end of the tax year

i worked for an agency for three days and the only way to get paid i had to register with nova.

My husband has been using Nova for the last few months wages are always late and nothing makes sense. They set up a company with companies house no communication and everything is a mess. Today he still has not been paid I now have over £100 in bank charges today as DD have bounced. So angry reckon we have lost out on a lot of money and to top it all off they have not answered the calls today impossible to get hold of.

although a few weeks later they sent me a message that i had to submit my tax returns, and they could do my accounts for me for a handsome fee!

do not trust them as they are scamming people as an umbrella company to pay your wages but instead all they ask for almost every e-mail you get from them is money.

My husband will be sacking this company ASAP but to all those thinking about using them please be aware they take advantage of those that do not understand how self employment and LTD company works so they can deduct money left right and centre and you are none the wiser as to why or where it has went. The figures they have provided are not matching what figures HMRC have provided and this is a concern for them as much as me struggling to find funds to make ends meet.

I am looking closely into this company now with HMRC guiding me through the red tape that is the Law when it comes to HGV Drivers tax and NI and if anything comes back that is not above board look out!!!
